Important information about funding requests:
IMPORTANT: When you send us a funding request, we only need the following information:
- What is the legal issue?
- Country of origin
- Reason for fleeing (a few words are enough)
- Do you already have a lawyer? If so, what is their name? Feel free to ask us for tips beforehand: There are very good and very bad asylum lawyers…
- In the case of a negative asylum application: Date when the rejection notice arrived (date on the envelope), type of rejection notice (unfounded / obviously unfounded / inadmissible)
- Deadlines that are currently running
We do not wish to receive the following information in an initial inquiry:
- Names
- Copy of the decision: This usually contains the entire personal refugee history and data such as name, date of birth, address, etc.
- Personal documents
- Details about living situation, illnesses, names of treating physicians, etc.
- Any information that has not been agreed upon with the asylum seeker(s)
Furthermore, we do not have a waiting list or anything similar. Each person can only submit one request (per procedure). The reason for this is that otherwise we would have to turn down many people month after month, and in the end, nothing might come of it.
